Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir

The internationally award-winning Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir provides exceptional music and choral training to children and youth at all levels of music experience, ages 4-18, throughout the East Bay. Classes featuring progressive, Kodály based curriculum are taught by nurturing, inspiring instructors who actively engage young students through text exploration and interpretation, theory, musicianship, vocal training and performance. 

Committed to new music, our singers collaborate with living composers, perform newly commissioned pieces, and tour nationally or internationally each season.

Our singers light up with happiness when they sing; they become devoted musicians because singing feeds their souls. They tell us it’s who they are. And singing together, bringing together diverse voices into one song, holds an extraordinary power to build community across the lines that divide us.

At PEBCC, we build bridges between singers, communities, and cultures, creating meaningful opportunities for cultural exchange through annual international tours, intensive collaborations and performances with partner choirs locally and from around the world, and homestay programs that build cross-cultural friendships that can last a lifetime.
